Will a Waterford China Pattern ever be discontinued?
Waterford Fine Bone China comes with a Consumer Confidence Program that allows you to register your pattern. In the event that your pattern is discontinued, you will be notified 12 months in advance so you can complete your table setting. Once the 12 month window has passed, we suggest you locate a discontinued product through Replacements.com.
Where can I search for Waterford retired crystal patterns?

Will a flatware pattern ever be discontinued?
Waterford Flatware has a 5 year Guarantee of Availability. If removed from active status, a pattern can be custom-ordered for 5 years.
Is a line or cord in crystal a flaw?
No. It is not considered a flaw. This almost invisible difference in the density of the crystal occurs during the fusing of molten crystal. Although visible when it reflects light, the cord disappears when a goblet or vase is filled with water.
Does a seed or bubble in crystal constitute a flaw?
Tiny bubbles the size of a pin point sometimes form in the fusing or melting process and do not affect the quality of the piece. Such slight variations are natural results of handcrafting.
Can a chipped crystal item be repaired?
It depends on the severity of the chip and the capabilities of the repair technician and shop. Our suggestion is to bring the item to a repair ship and inquire with the technician. Search online or in the phonebook under "Glass, Repairs." For your convenience we have listed two repair businesses that many Waterford customers have used in the past.

Each lighting product travels in its own airtight, foam-padded carton.
Is Waterford Lighting UL Approved?
Every Waterford lamp is UL listed and carries the UL stamp of approval, which means it meets the safety standards set by the Underwriters' Laboratories.

All Waterford Holiday Heirlooms ornaments are mouth-blown of the finest glass and painted by hand. Many of the ornaments feature designs that are inspired by Waterford Crystal patterns. Collectors revel in the search for ornaments with their favorite Waterford Crystal pattern.
Waterford Holiday Heirlooms was introduced in 1997 with an assortment of 46 ornaments and tree toppers. The assortment has continued to expand over the years and now includes more than 125 ornaments, tree toppers, garlands and candles. Most recently, Waterford introduced a fresh assortment of new themes, patterns and colors for Christmas.
What are Waterford Holiday Heirlooms ornaments made of?

Though the finest and strongest glass possible is used, the ornaments are fragile and breakable. As with all handcrafted glass works of art, care should be taken in the handling and storing of Waterford Holiday Heirlooms.
What is Continental Sizing?
Continental sizing refers to flatware that is more generously proportioned than traditional American flatware.
What does 18/10 mean?
18/10 stainless steel, the European standard of excellence, refers to the amount of nickel (provides luster and allows for great detail) and chromium (corrosion resistance).
Tell me about Waterford Linens...
Waterford tablecloths, placemats, napkins, bed linens, sheets and decorative pillows all feature superior quality and peerless workmanship. Table linens include luscious, heavy, exquisite traditional damasks and simple chic hemstitch linens as well as an array of casual prints and solids. The Waterford Bed Linens collection features an incredible range of sensual fabrics and multi-layered textural designs in soft, soothing colors. Subtle damasks, richly woven tapestries, warm chenille's and supple velvets are used to create lush, warm and inviting bed linens that are classical and timeless in feeling, with an updated sensibility. Decorative embellishments on tablecloths, placemats, table runners and napkins range from precise mitered corners and uniform tailoring to delicate embroideries. Richly braided cords and gimps, luxurious tassels and fringes as well as embroidery, cutwork and guglicio add depth and dimension to the Waterford Bed Linen collection. Trims are skillfully dyed to match and coordinate to all fabrics. All Waterford linens are sewn using the best dressmaker quality tailoring and workmanship. Another notable fact about Waterford linens applies to its sheets. Waterford sheets are around 300 to 330 thread count. The higher the threat count, the tighter the weave, and therefore, the softer and silkier the sheet will feel.
I don't own a table. How will I know what size cloth I'll need?
To our experience, most couples start off with a standard 6-8 seat table. Then as the marriage and family grows, so does the table accordingly. It is recommended registering for 3 different sized cloths: 66" X 84", 66" X 104", plus a 66" X 144", which can be stored for future use. Placemats and runners are a must for your linen trousseau, as they will accommodate any table design and shape. An oblong tablecloth will dress beautifully on an oval or rectangle table.
What color linens should I register for?
First and foremost you need to select colors, which will "pop" your china pattern. Vibrant jewel tones will give you a strong dramatic presence and contrast, while a classic crisp white or the warmth and elegance of ivory will compliment and enhance most china patterns and more importantly, not conflict with your interior color scheme. It is advisable to register for all table top items together. Once you have selected your china pattern, take a plate over to the table linens department to ensure a perfect match.
What length of drop should my tablecloth be?
The recommended length should be between 10" and 15". Always remember the golden rule for dressing a table: longer rather than shorter makes a visual statement of style and grace.

What's the difference between the way products look online and offline?
How Waterford crystal appears online has a lot to do with your monitor resolution. The color of online linen swatches might appear differently offline. It's a good idea to check with us if you need an exact match. Rest assured that when your crystal arrives it will always measure up to Waterford.com's stringent quality standards.
How do I place an order?
Placing an order is simple. Add items to your basket by entering the quantity of the item you wish you buy and then clicking on Add to Basket. This will take you to your shopping basket, from which you can continue shopping or proceed to checkout.
Next, sign in or checkout as a guest. You will enter your billing address, shipping address(es), gifting options, and payment information. We accept American Express, Visa, and MasterCard.
For most orders, your card will not be charged until your order is shipped. We will charge your card right away for Gift Certificates and Waterford Society memberships since those items are activated immediately upon purchase. Also, we charge your credit card immediately for engraved items.
How do I cancel or change an order?

and we will try to accommodate you. If your order has already been processed, it may be too late to cancel or change the shipment, but you can return it once it is received.
How do we charge tax?
When you begin your check-out process on Waterford.com, your taxes will be estimated based on your zip code. Then when you complete your order, the final tax charged will be present on your order confirmation.

Waterford.com's gift wrapping is suitable for every gift-giving occasion. We use silver paper, grosgrain ribbon and a Waterford.com seal. Your gift-wrapped package includes a customized gift card and envelope. Choose the gift wrap option on a product page or during checkout. Then pick your gift message at checkout. Our gift wrapping fee is $5.95.
Please note that certain large items cannot be gift wrapped. Also note, While all Waterford Crystal items are packaged in our signature grey boxes, when ordering multiple items of a certain product, some boxes may vary in height or width dimensions.
Can I purchase a Waterford.com gift certificate?
Always the perfect choice! Our gift certificates are sent securely to the recipient via email and are redeemable online at any time. The recipient can use all or part of the gift certificate at once, and we will maintain the balance. Or the recipient can use the entire gift certificate toward a larger purchase and pay the balance with a credit card. We're sorry, gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
Does Waterford.com have a bridal registry?
Waterford.com does not have a bridal registry. However, our informative Wedding section includes a Wish List that brides can use to save products in which they are interested and email that list to friends and family.
How do I ship to more than one address?
We accommodate multiple shipping addresses in our checkout process. Shipping is charged for each address.
How do I engrave/personalize a product?
All items available for engraving are indicated as such. The charge for personalization is included in the price of that item. The item page will indicate the style of engraving that is offered, be in a monogram or personalized message. Please remember that personalized items are non-returnable. Please allow 7 business days prior to shipping for the engraving process. Because personalized items cannot be returned, your credit card is charged at the time of purchase.
Does Waterford.com support international orders?
We are sorry, but we do not currently ship outside of the US, to Puerto Rico, to Guam, or to APO addresses.
What is "My Account"?
My Account holds information for registered members, including an online Address Book, stored billing information, and Order History details.
Why should I register as a member?

Where can I see what I've ordered in the past?

Order Turnaround
For our Standard service, we will make every attempt to process and ship your order within 1 business day of receipt. For our Express service, orders received by 11am EST will be processed and shipped 2-day-air in the same day (weekends and holidays excluded).

Shipping surcharges
Certain large size items require a shipping surcharge. These items are clearly marked on their product pages so you will see the surcharge prior to placing the item into your basket.

Waterford.com Return Policy:
Waterford.com will gladly refund any new, unused merchandise within 30 days of the date it was purchased. Each package you receive will arrive with a return form and return label to make it easy. Just ship your item(s) and the form to us in the original packaging via UPS or insured mail. Approximately 14 business days later your return will be processed.
If your package was a gift, the return process is just as easy, but instead, you will receive an electronic Waterford.com gift certificate via email, for the amount of the merchandise.
Please note that this policy applies only to items purchased on waterford.com and does not apply to gift wrapping charges, shipping charges, engraved items or special order stemware. All packages must be returned prepaid.
