The Art of Irish Coffee

List of ingredients and method: This bespoke Irish Coffee offers a refreshed twist on the classic. Customize your drink with a selection of warming spices and sweetness, perfectly balanced by smooth Irish whiskey and fresh cream. Served in Waterford drinkware, this is an indulgence designed for savoring.

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 broken cinnamon stick
    • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
    • 1 tbsp muscovado sugar
    • 50 ml freshly brewed coffee
    • 40 ml premium Irish whiskey
    • Fresh double cream, lightly whipped
  • Method:
    • Prepare the Glass: In a Lismore Irish Coffee Glass, add the broken cinnamon stick, cocoa powder, and muscovado sugar.
    • Add the Coffee: Pour in the hot coffee and stir until the cocoa and sugar are dissolved.
    • Add the Whiskey: Pour in the 40ml of Irish whiskey, stirring gently.
    • Top with Cream: Lightly whip the double cream until it thickens but is still pourable. Gently float the cream on top of the coffee using the back of a spoon.
    • Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa or a cinnamon stick, if desired, and serve warm.

Together, we’ve created an exclusive St. Patrick’s Day cocktail that perfectly captures the spirit of Irish celebration, elevated by our iconic Lismore Diamond Double Old Fashioned Tumblers.

The Coffee Date

This cocktail reimagines Irish Coffee with modern depth. A balanced blend of JJ Corry Irish Whiskey, smooth Date & Coffee Vermouth, and hints of Cacao and Coconut Rum come together to create a contemporary yet nostalgic taste experience.

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 dash Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters
    • 2.5 ml Tempus Fugit Cacao
    • 5 ml Amaro Etna
    • 5 ml Amaro Sfumato
    • 10 ml Coconut Rum (Plantation recommended)
    • 0.25 oz Dewar’s 12-Year Scotch
    • 1 oz JJ Corry TDR Cask Irish Whiskey
    • 1.5 oz Date & Coffee Vermouth
    • Green Chartreuse (spray garnish)
  • Method
    • Prepare the Glass: Chill your Waterford Lismore Diamond Rocks glass, then spray twice with Green Chartreuse inside the glass.
    • Combine Ingredients: Add all ingredients except the Chartreuse spray into a mixing glass.
    • Stir to Chill: Stir gently until well chilled.
    • Strain & Serve: Strain the mixture into the prepared glass. Serve neat (no ice).
    • Garnish & Enjoy: Finish with an additional gentle spray of Green Chartreuse if desired, then enjoy immediately.
